  • Once your finished mix is received, it’ll be checked for any red flags, this is anything that would prevent mastering. It’s never a judgement of the mix or music.

    After mastering, a first pass is provided via a dedicated player with a download option by the delivery date provided. Any adjustments will be done collaboratively.

    Once approved, a final distribution file pack will be provided with all deliverables.

  • Nicky Howard is a dedicated mastering engineer. If you require help with production or mixing, Nicky will happily recommend some excellent people to work with.

Mastering Preparation

    • Signed-off and approved mixes that you love!

    • Please send Alternative Versions (Instrumental etc) with the main mixes.

    • Minimum of 16 Bit and 44.1 kHz WAV files.

    • Ensure the highest peak is under 0dB.

    • Include any loud, hot, limited ref if it differs from the final mix.

    • Leave any processing on that’s been mixed into and is part of the vibe.

    • Remove the final limiter if the mix holds together as intended without it.

    • Feel free to include any useful notes or references you’ve been enjoying.

  • You can send finished mix files via any file transfer service such as dropbox, google drive or wetransfer.

Mastering Delivery

  • As standard

    • WAV files at 16 Bit 44.1k and also 24 Bit at your native sample rate.

    As requested

    • DDP Image for CD duplication.

    • Vinyl Sides for manufacture.

    • MP3.

    • Apple Digital Masters.

  • Projects are considered complete and archived one month after approval.

    All files are securely backed up to dedicated servers and stored in case they are needed for future recall.
